Diagnostic ultrasound, also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is an imaging method that uses sound waves to produce images of structures within your body.

Our inhouse sonographers provide very high quality ultrasound services within the clinic.

Some of the ultrasound services include:

• Dating scan for the establishment of due date if unsure of the last monthly period
• A gender scan to establish the baby's gender
• An early scan of your baby's health and development as well as giving a risk for Down Syndrome.
• An anomaly scan to see the development and growth of your baby including heart, spine, brain, legs and arms etc.
• Doppler scans for establishment of foetal wellbeing including detection of any gross abnomalities
• General ultrasound covers areas like breast and abdomen
